The Grotto Pact: Terms of Service

Welcome to Find Your Colors. By signing up here, you’re entering The Grotto of Trust, and you’re agreeing to a specific way of being. This is a sanctuary for the resilient. This is a place to grow, learn, and evolve with each other.

1. This trust is two-way.

I’m going to share the ugly truth of my life and the vibrant rebirth of my recovery. I will be vulnerable in the posts, the comments, and the community discussions. In return, I ask for your respect.

The Number One Rule: We do not judge the shards. We are here to witness a reconstruction.

Where I draw the line: Any form of hate speech, harassment, or judgment toward outcasts, witches, or survivors will result in immediate removal. No refunds. No second chances. We are all adults here, and we’ve all been given enough chances by the time we got here.

2. I’m providing an introspective mirror.

I want to make it 100% clear: I am not a doctor. I am not a therapist. I am not a medical professional. I am not trained in psychology.

I am sharing my experiential knowledge.

I’m not diagnosing or treating any illness.

I’m sharing what I’ve lived through as an addict who found Grace and Hope, and how I rose up as a person who just wanted to improve his life and had to find a unique path to get there.

My words are for educational and entertainment purposes. If you’re in crisis, please seek medical help immediately. I am a mirror for your own internal light, not a replacement for your medical team.

3. Ownership of these shards and these colors.

The words I share—the chapters of Blush Born, A Faded Quest, Echoes of Foreshadow, and the essays from Shards of Hope—are my life’s work.

The Permission: You are encouraged to share the light. Quote me, link to me, and spread the color.

The Boundary: You may not pirate, redistribute, or sell my work. The Prism Tier library and Early Access chapters are for subscribers only. Don’t be the person who stole from a survivor. Let’s not do it.

4. The Love and Light Filter.

This is not a place where you’re going to get toxic positivity or spiritual bypassing. We’re not here to dance around the "ugly" parts or ignore the allegedly negative aspects of emotions. We acknowledge the darkness because that’s how we know the light is real. We don't fix each other; we hold space for each other to become whole.

5. Refund Policy.

I’m building a movement, not a corporate machine. While you can cancel your membership at any time through Substack, I do not offer pro-rated refunds for the Prism Tier physical goods once they have been inscribed and shipped.

Stop trying to be what they want you to be. You’re choosing to disregard the lines and color wherever you want. Just don’t color over these specific rules—because that would just be rude.
